I'm Kristina Hind,
Nice to meet you! I am a licensed CPA, wife, and momma to two little ones. I started my career in 2010, and climbed the corporate ladder until 2021, when I made the decision to quit my job and work part-time. I left because I was burnt out, pregnant with my second child and decided I wanted more time to spend with my kids! Leaving my cushy comfortable job was one of the scariest decisions I've made but so so worth it. I not only accomplished having more time with my babies, but it led me to my true calling, and what I was craving for all those years.
I majored in accounting because I ultimately wanted to help people. Growing up my parents struggled financially, and I wanted to make a difference in the lives of those people that might be struggling as well. I asked my dad at a young age, what should I do, and he said become an accountant, so that's what I did! The path I followed didn't initially give me what I was looking for, and to be honest I forgot why I even wanted to be an accountant in the first place. Leaving the corporate world, helped me re-discover my passion. I started working one on one with individuals and small businesses and that fire and excitement was sparked, and it's why Franklynn Accounting was born.
I'd love to share more of my story with you, and I hope it inspires you to follow your intuition. When I left my corporate job, I had no idea where my career would ultimately land, but I trusted God, and myself and knew another path would appear.
